Day 223 – Jumping for joy! So on to my fourth wedding in 6 days, this happy day was set a stone throw away from Tetbury at Kingscote Barn. This was a lovely wedding where detail and design was well considered, so whilst the bride was getting ready I grabbed the chaps for a […]

Day 221- Groundhog Day! Not too sure what is wrong with me, but it’s happened again, no photo taken apart from my morning stroll to the office snap shot, if only I had bumped in to Bill Murray, but then if that had happened I would of taken a photo of him!

Day 220 – Fail safe to the rescue… again? So last week was bonkers, snapping well over 5000 photographs and today just the one picture to start the fresh new week, my one building, one spot on the way to the office, Déjà vu? Feels like it!

Day 219 –  Depth of Field So after a run of three weddings this was a great day to wake up,  blue skies, sunshine, fluffy clouds and a 2 and a half hour drive back to Cheltenham. Now it’s time to process and sort through my bounty of 5ooo+ photos, wishing my finger wasn’t so heavy […]

Day 217 – Happy Campers. Two weddings down and on to the third (in a row). I am slightly blurry eyed from having one eyed closed for almost two days now, but I can assure you I have been looking forward to this one as much as the last two! So set out in the […]

Day 217 – Happy hoppers. Yesterday was the first of the 3 in a row weddings, today (obviously is my  second) but wow what a day, it was a long day starting from Gloucester to Deerhurst, to the second oldest Church in the country, The Priory Church of St Mary. After the lovely ceremony we […]

Day 216 – Shhhh it’s a secret! Wow what a day! I have had some requests in my time but this one was the most fun. Quentin and Liz had arranged a surprised intimate wedding with their family, except the only people that knew about it was myself and the lovely couple. My mission […]

Day 215 – Historical Beams It’s not a secret that I have a serious love for the Battersea Power Station or Chelsea Bridge for that matter. So as I was in London seeing a great family friend, I took and opportunity to snap the Illuminated Icons whilst doing a little feature for Photography Monthly […]

Day 191 – Young love. Before Hugo was born we joined a NCT group to meet  other parents to be and to grab some advice on what to expect. In the time we attended the course we met some amazing people and hopefully now some lifelong friends, today was the birthday of one of […]

Day 214 – My fail safe As you will know if you have been following my blog that I have to take one picture everyday for a year, easier said than done, especially if it’s to have any substance! This does lack on occasions, but a picture is a picture and that meets the […]

Day 213 – If I could turn back slime. Snails! These things are the bane of my life. When I was around twenty I decided to get a tattoo, of what you ask? A SNAIL, yes that’s right a snail, what was i thinking? Well… There is a little more to it than just […]

Day 212 –  Loving the greenery. So time to head back to the shire after a lovely weekend with family, but before I go had to snap the wooden hearts in the window, its such a lovely place it’s almost paneful to go !!

Day 211 – Watching your crops grow. Nothing beats spending time with your family and little ones. today is no exception. After a storming drive down to Plymouth last night we woke to a glorious day, good thing really as we had planned a nature walk around Buckland Abbey, topped off with a canoe […]

Day 210 – A lightening pitstop So granted it’s not the must impressive photograph, but yet again I had to capture my one shot for the day, so on my way to Plymouth with the family we flew in for a quick stop before we drove through one of the biggest thunder storms I […]

Day 209 – Little Princess Today the gorgeous little Issy came over for her photo to be taken, it was nice to take a picture of this cute baby girl so that little Hugo could retire for the night, she was a well behaved little princess.

Day 208 – Green Sleeves Try not to hum the song now that you have seen the title! It seemed very apt as I would imagine a big country house or stately home on huge beautiful grounds to go along with this song. This must be the inspiration for the title as I was […]

Day 207 – Clouds full of water So my training for the Cheltenham half gets back on track, haven’t run for a while so managed just under 5 miles, but at about 3 and half miles in I had to stop, put the water down, take a few breathers and take in the view, […]

Day 206 – Sunset high-rise Today I wanted to get out and catch one of the lovely sunsets I keep missing, so poised at the door trying to see if the sun and clouds were going to dance together to give us a closing show performance I waited with camera, hugo and baby car […]

Day 205 – Field of dreams Today I met the lovely couple Natalie and Jim and their gorgeous daughter Lola for a pre wedding shoot at the second oldest church in the country in Deerhurst near Tewkesbury. The weather was good and supplied me with some nice fluffy white clouds on a plate of […]

Day 204 – Come rain or shine. Today my step father was over from Dubai and is quite possibly the king of BBQ’s, so it was only fair I rose to the challenge, I think it is clear to see I lost!  Six sausages, rain and a gazebo doesn’t match the Dubai Sun, endless […]
