Day 152 – Blue eyed Ben. Ok so we are back to baby photos, but this isn’t my child this is a friends and as I do take family photograph (not studio) it would be rude not to stick this lovely picture up of the very cute Ben. He was well behaved and didn’t […]

Day 151 – Gr8 Gordini This gorgeous little Renault 8 Gordini has a special place in my heart, I seem to be recalling lots of childhood memories at the moment, maybe a part of my brain has decided to work again! I have such fond memories of this car and the people attached to […]

Day 150 – Being up staged. It’s all about drum risers… I am fortunate enough to of known the Chip Shop Boys for around 15+ years and have been good friends with them all, I often get to tag along on their gigs in the past it was dj’ing with them and over the […]

Day 149 – Orange light. Not too sure what is happening in this country at the moment, this time last year the weather was pretty warm for UK standards!. The days have been cold and grey and today I saw a huge orange light in the sky, backed with a bright blue background, not […]

John and Heidi It’s always a little daunting being asked by another photographer to shoot their wedding, I was delighted  to be asked and thankful John and Heidi from Two Front Teeth Family Portraits don’t shoot weddings, so a little bit of pressure was eased! This was always going to be a special wedding, as […]

Day 148 – Lady and the Tramp. Today I tried out the new Bowens light I have acquired, so the obvious option would of been to photograph a certain baby, but seeing as all I have photograph recently was Hugo, I thought I would change the subject matter. I noticed the dog getting jealous, […]

Day 147 – A cat in pane. I love catching animals looking out of windows, it reminds me as a kid being told to go to bed early, especially  in summers months when the nights were light. I wouldn’t want to go straight to bed (naturally like most children), so I would stare out […]

Day 146 – Necessities. As the day draws to a close, there is an important piece of equipment in our house… the kettle! This life saver is there to make a warm bottle of food to feed our very hungry boy not content with just breast milk. And almost importantly it’s to make a […]

Day 145 – Cry baby. So I managed to last 4 days without posting a baby picture, but Hugo is back, things were going all to well and then the bubble burst, so it’s all tears, but don’t worry my website doesn’t process sound with my photographs!

Day 144 – Eternal love. Two hearts, two rings, one common bond, love and marriage. I was fortunate  enough to spend the following day with the happy couple at a family barbecue, which allowed me to take another picture of the rings.

Day 143 – Centre of attention. Today was a great day shooting the Herbert wedding, located a stone throw away from Dartmoor. This joyous day was held on National Trust grounds of Buckland Abbey. I love taking wedding photographs, it’s a chance to capture so many emotions, mainly happy ones, and of course I […]

Day 142 – The Road is long. Two days and no baby photograph! It’s been a long day at the office and I’ve not had time to get the ideal photograph I would like to post, but hey, the project is one photo a day for 365 days, the point is to take a […]

Day 141 – Beautiful outlook. At last a picture that isn’t a baby image, however I was driving Hugo around as I had to drop my wife off somewhere. As the white noise of the car motion made him sleepy I jumped out at a lay-by and took a quick shot of the Malvern […]

Day 140 – In the driving seat. Yes, I am afraid it’s another baby picture of Hugo, apologies for the constant stream of baby related posts, but with time absorbed by this little fella for the last week or two its been difficult to photograph anything else,  so it looks like he really is […]

Day 139 – Sleepy sleepy. Another day in the house adjusting to this little fella joining us, I wonder what he is dreaming about? Crying? 🙂

Day 138 – Yeeeeeees! So today it’s another baby Hugo photo, I haven’t really ventured away from the house yet again, but someone is looking pretty happy with himself… even if he is asleep!

Day 137 – Happy and cosy. As any parent will know nothing beats this view, looking down at your child as it snuggles in, falls asleep and is happily warm and content on your chest, I could stare at him  for ages and this is a view I will never tire of, whilst he […]

Day 136 – Sisterly love. I love this photo so much, I only wish I had taken it with my Nikon as opposed to my iPhone for quality purposes, but as I didn’t have it, the good ole iPhone captured yet another impulsive shot , this is one of the first times my daughter […]

Day 134 – Time for the Restroom. Our poor little fella was happy in the warm home of my wife, nature was telling him to vacate, so the landlord had a lengthy eviction, so when he finally arrived it was time for some rest on all parts. Now he takes up every room in […]
