Day 87 – A copy right? This is me taking a photo, of a two guys taking a photo of a photo taken by the guy in the white shirt! Confused? The guy here won the student category at the Professional Photographer Of The Year (PPOTY) 2013 and it was my duty working for […]

Day 86 – Full moon does funny things. I am mesmerised by the moon, I could stare at it all night especially when it’s big and clear like tonight, so as the clouds were pretty sparse, it was an ideal opportunity to take a picture of it. They say the full moon brings out […]

Day 85 – Panning. Today was a day I got my photographic teeth into a project, I had to (with a colleague from Photography Monthly magazine) was to film and photograph a picture made of food. So here is a pan fried egg, our little ray of sunshine, just as well really as all it […]

Day 84 – Don’t label graffiti artists. Not sure if its a council member going above and beyond his duty to clean up this town sending a new message or its a environmental graffiti artist that has given up the paint. One thing I know is they must look less cool with their mates, […]

Day 83 – Snow way down. You’d be forgiven for thinking this is winter, we are officially in spring, the bulbs are sprouting, daffodils are flourishing seas of yellow everywhere and now the temperatures have plummeted to an all time low in the last 50 years. With a sugar dusting of snow, where better […]

Day 81 – The weathers looking down! I think I probably speak for most people when I say I have had just about enough of the need to moisturise the pavements, day after day with temperatures at their lowest in for this time of the year for 50 years. I think its time to […]

Day 80 – No expense spared. Not only do you threaten to tow it away you try to charge them also, if this car is unauthorised i’d like to see them try, I think their expenses will be spared!

Day 77 – On a bulb setting. A beautiful sunset on my way home from work, at last the evenings are drawing out so it’s light enough for me to take a photograph without having to do a long exposure (Bulb setting!)

Day 75 – A little snapper. So today was the first day, i took a completely random impulsive shot, camera not in reach I grabbed my iphone and caught the little head poking up, yapping away as I waited at the traffic lights! No its not a turtlehead!

Day 70 – My ears are back, do I look happy? After finding out he was for sale this cat had just about reached it’s limited before giving me the evil looks, ‘GET, THAT, CAMERA, OUT, OF, MY, FACE’ there’s a fe-line between happy and angry with cats!

Day 67 – Its Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiday. After a long week at work, we can’t wait for the weekend, the weekend is (normally) a time to relax, have fun and let your hair down. What better way to break the weekend in, with a drink with a friend or loved one getting mashed!

Day 65 – Illuminating times. Today, work consumed my whole day not giving me anytime to take a photo, I stayed late in the office trying to meet deadline of the magazine. Grabbing a few minutes away from my computer, I set up my tripod, plonked the camera on and captured a few long […]

Day 64 – Working in mysterious ways. Looks like this store, or this ‘one warehouse’ is trying underhand tactics. How to trick us in to walking in and taking a new phone contract, must admitIi almost fell for the smart deal of the week!

Day 63 – True love. There is something about taking photographs of old or young people, it’s the innocence of life, no back stabbing, no ulterior  motives, no keepimg up with the Jones’ it’s just about enjoy life and spending time with loved ones, whether you’re parents or you’re with a partner of 50 years. […]

Day 57 – Flat coke. Yesterday I found something in the road that caught my eye (excuse the pun – see day 56) and then this morning as I ventured to work the double yellow lines lead me to this iconic design, which stood out at me… oh the irony, or this that aluminium […]

Day 56 – Walls have ears and roads have… eyes? Now these aren’t your average cats eyes, oh no, these don’t illuminate the road to help you home safely, these are the eyes of a stoned and drunken road with a double yellow smile. Just look at those pot holes well and truly lashed! […]

Day 54 – Cereal Killers. This was once a Maltsters, they used to soak Cereal/Barley in water in these buildings as well as store Malt and bag it here. This old warehouse on the site of Gloucester docks was built in 1876 and was in use for this for over a hundred years until […]

Day 46 – Eternal love. Life is a little like photography, capturing something special that something stands out when you least expect it, a gift that you can’t miss and you have to seize the moment. Without sounding all sentimental this is exactly how its panned out for me, I met my wife when […]

Day 39 – Polish off your beer. On my walk to work, I stumbled across this lonely beer can on a wall waiting to see its fate as the dustbin men loom. I wouldn’t of really noticed this if it wasn’t for the Polish name on it and being in Poland only a few […]
