Alicia and Ollie’s wedding day took place at the stunning St John Church in Burford followed by Cripps Barn in Bibury.
Alicia and Ollie’s love story culminated in a picturesque wedding at Cripps Barn in Bibury, Gloucestershire, nestled within the serene landscapes of the Cotswolds. The journey of the day began with bridal preparations in the charming town of Burford, where Highway Hotel and Burford House Hotel served as the canvas for the unfolding magic.
The anticipation built as Alicia, accompanied by her bridesmaids, strolled down Burford High Street, a procession that captivated onlookers with a sense of joy. The church of St John the Baptist awaited, where the exquisite floristry by Beth Cox from Go Wild Flowers adorned the sacred space with blooms of grace—bouquets, buttonholes, and the ambiance all intricately designed.
On the other side of street, Ollie gathered with family at The Cotswold Arms pubs, sharing moments and a few drinks in anticipation of the impending ceremony. The couple’s paths converged at the church, uniting them in a ceremony that echoed with love and vows.
Post-ceremony, a confetti-filled celebration ensued, marking the beginning of a joyful journey to Cripps Barn. Pulham’s coaches ferried the guests to the reception, where the barn, transformed into a vision of rustic elegance, awaited. A spectacular cake table graced the venue, adorned with homemade creations from friends and family, a sweet testament to the community surrounding Alicia and Ollie.
Daytime melodies serenaded the celebration with the soulful tunes of singer and acoustic musician Lee Gordon. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the evening was handed over to the talented Cotswold DJ, I am Will (Will Pidsley), whose music and mesmerizing light show, complete with lasers, set the dance floor ablaze with energy.
The celebration concluded with a touch of magic—sparklers lighting up the night sky, symbolizing the sparks of joy that Alicia and Ollie brought to each other’s lives and to all who witnessed their union.
