Hayley and Paul

Getting great weather at the start of the year is always hit and miss, however if Hayley and Paul had been doing a sundance the night before their wedding it worked! From the moment I arrived in the morning the sun was beaming just perfect to reflect the whole day. First finger clicks of the day were to capture Hayley getting ready with her lovely family, bridesmaids, make-up and hair entourage, before heading over to Kingscote Barn near Tetbury for the groom and gang. Embedding images on my memory cards of the boys getting ready and of the beautiful barn dressed up ready for the big day, I couldn’t miss Hayley and Paul’s gorgeous theme, one that suited the incredible weather with blue skies. It was a Greek themed wedding, a special place for the couple which influenced the whole day, from the Meze antipasti starters, Greek favours, Greek boarding cards for table places, beautifully designed orders of service etc (Hayley is a designer!) to the amazing wedding cake (also made by Hayley – cake maker too!). With Hayley in her dress and armed with her bouquet it was time to let proud dad see his beautiful daughter and escort her down the aisle to become Mrs Knight. Paul stood there nervously and very taken back by her as she graced the room with all peering eyes. With the ceremonial ‘I do’s’, cheers and smiles it was time for the loving kiss and the guests to well wish and get snap happy.

Basking in the sun the ‘Knights’ enjoyed a refreshing glass of Champagne before heading in to the surrounding areas for their couple shots. Kingscote Barn has many gorgeous spots to take photos and the main road in is perfect for a romantic walk picture. After we captured the individual photographs it was time to be ushered back in for the food and speeches. With a cheer and a tear, watered (wined) and fed, it was time to kick back and enjoy the entertainment, none other than the fantastic 4 piece band, The Chips Shop Boys. But before I signed off we headed out in to the starlit skies for a ‘arty’ shot with sparklers and an LED light stick. What a beautiful day… Congratulations Mr & Mrs Knight

I already knew when I asked Noel to be my wedding photographer that the pictures would be the best possible, he has photographed a few friends weddings and they are the best I’ve seen. As a designer I wanted something a bit different than the normal posed standard pictures, Noel’s style of photography fit us perfectly, he captures moments you haven’t even realised were there to be captured! I could not be happier with our wedding photos, we have some beautiful images and the hardest part will be selecting just a few to blow up for display…. I wish I had more walls!! Thank you Noel, and if anyone is considering using Cotswold pictures, just book!!! You won’t regret it! He is a perfectionist from the very start right until presents you with your pictures!
