Day 26 – Muddy jumpers! My home town Cheltenham is famous for many things, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, Gustav Holst the composer, Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones, Richard O’Brien the writer of the stage show ‘The Rocky Horror Show and presenter of ‘The Crystal Maze’ and GCHQ, but nothing more widespread than the Racecourse especially in March when the Gold Cup festival is on. Well the snow has cleared and the Gee Gee’s have been given the all clear to race, so myself, daughter and nephew walk round the lovely public footpath that surrounds the course to see a few jumpers and take a few pictures.  We saw a few jumpers and a few sliders, the sliders were us attempting to walk the public footpath which was more hazardous than mounting a horse and throwing it over a fence! But hey if Eddie Edwards can make a few bucks sliding down the hill, fast, we weren’t people to shy away from a challenge! Result, 1. A muddy fallen daughter (with camera – muddy) 2. Very muddy sliding nephew 3. A less than gracious mud skater clutching to his camera for dear life, with hand marks all over his top to clean his daughter hands after she fell… a muddy jumper!
