Emma and Ian have chosen a great Cotswold venue, it was one of my favourite venues of 2013, perfect for photographers. It floods the place with natural light and has all the extras to make great photos as well as the surrounding grounds. I arranged for Emma and Ian to meet at a location in-between us both, so I chose a picturesque spot, Broadway Tower, a great location which would also allow their gorgeous dog Murphy to be involved. We had arranged  to meet the previous weekend but due to the weather we had to cancel. So we took a gamble to wait till the following week, and luck would have it the Saturday was clear (ish) with rain sandwiched either side. When we met we were to be greeted with blustery winds, but thankful for blue skies and lack of rain. The whole point of these sessions are to get comfortable in front of the camera, met each other and get a feel for what will happen on the big day. A bonus also is you get a few extra photos, whether with  family members (children or pets) or just some cuddly or romantic ones on your own. We spent about two hours taking pictures, discussing ideas, a brief run through for the day, viewing album recommendation / needs, topping it off with a nice warm cup of tea and coffee. So with the last drip of tea slurped and details agreed it was time to head home and get the images out of the cans. I think we may of had some help from a higher order with the weather, as shortly after arriving home I was greeted to a huge hail and thunderstorm… not recommended on a open hill top!
