Laura and Adam’s wedding day started at The Frogmill followed by the stunning Upcote Barn in Withington, Cheltenham.
Laura and Adam’s autumn wedding at the stunning Barn at Upcote in Withington, Cheltenham, was a celebration of love, fun, family, and the beauty of the Cotswolds. Their son, Arthur, played a central role in the festivities, adding an extra layer of joy and meaning to the day, plus a little stress for Adam whilst trying to get ready! 🙂
Preparations began at the picturesque Frogmill in Shipton Olliffe, where the bride and groom’s parties readied themselves for the momentous occasion. With the expert touch of makeup artist Victoria Abbosh and hairstylist Alice from Fitzhill Hairdressing, Laura exuded radiance as she adorned her E&W Culture dress (top and skirt), complemented by a bespoke veil crafted by Sarah Shepard Bespoke Bridal.
The venue was transformed into a vision of rustic elegance, with Alexandra Sylvester Flowers adorning the space with autumnal blooms, and not to forget the stunning bouquets and buttonholes, setting the stage for a magical celebration. As if on cue, a fleeting shower gave way to a breathtaking rainbow, adding an enchanting touch to the day’s proceedings.
Shropshire Media and Print provided the elegant wedding stationary, while Samantha Godley, a friend of the bride, crafted a stunning wedding cake that served as a sweet centrepiece for the festivities.
Following a heartwarming ceremony, Laura and Adam were showered in confetti supplied by Shropshire Petals, before guests enjoyed drinks and canapés amidst the picturesque surroundings. Despite the weather’s unpredictability, the couple embraced the moment, donning wellies for a whimsical photo session in the rolling fields and even seeking shelter in the working barn for some creative shots.
The day continued with traditional processions, including a sumptuous wedding breakfast catered by Caviar and Chips, accompanied by humorous and emotional speeches that touched the hearts of all in attendance. As night fell, guests gathered for a magical moment with sparklers, preparing for the eagerly anticipated cake cutting and the couple’s first dance.
Entertainment was provided by the talented John Adam’s Band, whose music filled the air with infectious energy, keeping guests on the dance floor late into the night. Amidst laughter and joy, Laura, Adam, and their loved ones celebrated a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their journey together.
