Day 129 – Colourful imagination. I love the weekends as I get to spend quality time with my daughter, and as a creative person I take such happiness in seeing Lottie love drawing, painting and now photography. Last weekend she told me how much she loves taking photos, her photos are as colourful as […]

Day 128 – A stroll in the park? Not content with taking one picture everyday for a year, I have set myself another challenge, to take a photograph from this spot every time I walk past it on my way to the office also for a year. This isn’t taken every day as I […]

Day 127 – My old love exposed. Today I dug out my second  (serious) camera I owned. I was given my first camera by my father at the age 12-13, it was a Zenit, a great russian camera that got me started, but it was this AE-1 that saw most of my experimental pictures […]

Day 126 – Online communication. It’s amazing how these lines have allowed us to speak to people all over the world, and now we are needing them less and less as we have mobile phones, something still to this day can’t get my head round how they work! So now with fibre optics / […]

Day 125 – I Heart Tulips. Looking down on this Tulip, it looks heart shaped as the petals are starting to open out,  who couldn’t love this flower?

Day 124 – Mazda Skateboard. I have spent the best part of today, cleaning and waxing this little beauty, sadly she has to go, with the soon to arrive bambino this baby is no longer practical in the Hibbert household. So with the final rub and tickle with car shampoo and auto wax, she’s […]

Day 123 –  Family resemblance. Today was a great day, I took my nephew, my daughter and my dog out for a sunny stroll. I armed my daughter with my little Nikon V1, Leon (my nephew) had his Canon 450d and the dog had her usual sniffing nose, so off we went to get […]

Day 122 – Fairy Garden My little girl spent the afternoon with Lemara (my wife) making this very cool Fairy garden in this large plant pot. She is obsessed with fairies… Lottie not Lemara, so we planted some flower seeds underneath and she did the top, they did a great job, I’m just looking […]

Day 121 – What do you mean off the sofa? Bella my pooch, a Miniature Schnauzer isn’t the kind of dog that chases balls or sticks, she is a show off,  a ‘I want to look pretty’ dog. Even  though looking a little scruffy at the moment she can’t help posing, even when she […]

Day 120 – Apple Juice I lead such a busy life, i’m not complaining, it has always been that way, with the magazine, my freelance work and photography, plus day to day life, not to mention my now expectant wife needing all the help I can give. So at the moment the only time […]

Day 119 – Two doors, Tulips! My home town is a pretty place, it has incredible old architecture, the new is questionable but that’s a matter of taste. Everyday I walk past two glorious regency terraces on my way to the office, this morning the council had been busy planting flowers in their eternal […]

Day 118 – My little seedlings! Everything in my house is growing, my little baby which is hopefully going to sprout itself soon, just like my seeds, so it’ll be fresh food when the baby is ready for the chunky stuff!

Day 117 –  Love conquers all. Today I met up with the very cool and gorgeous couple, Dan and Holly, I drove a round trip of 280 miles to take some pre-wedding shots and to visit the venues in preparation for the big day. I love this picture, they look so happy and the […]

Day 116 – Somethings in life keep you grounded. Today I get to spend a valuable day with my little girl, she is such a great child and she makes me so proud, our afternoon didn’t go to plan as the kite she has so much wanted was broken so it flew for only […]

Day 115 – One sole for another soul. So today was my second day of running, I haven’t run in over a year, and not properly in over two, but with a new challenge in mind I thought i would set myself a target. So I have signed myself up for the Cheltenham Half […]

Day 113 – Tyred of holes? A few weeks ago I found some other potholes and a street artist or spray can warrior had circled the holes and added eyelashes, that was something for the council to look at. I am now wondering if this is the same person and if the council will […]

Day 112 – Not quite the full ticket! I know I have taken a picture of the moon not so long ago, but that was at full darkness and todays was at dusk and althought this image looks quite dark it was pretty light, I wanted to get a picture of the moon with […]

Day 101 – Blooming marvellous. At last it feels like the summer is here and this is one of my favourite spots in Cheltenham this time of the year. It’s due to the these gorgeous trees that blossom in pink and just look beautiful with the Regency buildings in the background!

Day 110 – Blooming gorgeous. Today was a special day, I was made a a godparent to a very good friend of mine’s son, little Edward. A family day with great friends and of course my ever growing family, what could be possibly better on a sunday?

Day 109 – Counting the days. Now that I am home I can rest a little easier knowing I will be there for the birth of our imminent baby, maybe I shouldn’t use the word rest, or maybe i should make the most of it! This is the baby kit packed ready for the […]
